Adelaida Rama Luna is a doctoral candidate at the University of California, Los Angeles, whose research examines Indigenous media, migration, and community. Her work focuses on how P’urhépecha (im)migrants, from the state of Michoacán, Mexico, use digital media to sustain communal relationships, circulate and transmit cultural knowledge, and imagine Indigenous futures across borders.
